Thomas Doyle is a Newyork based sculptor,who work in miniature.He creates miniature environments with small scale models which are usually displayed under glass.He creates detailed scenes that portray specific moments in his tiny people's lives.Some of these moments are very ordinary while others are quite unusual and interesting.
He says,"I create small-scale environments that are often displayed under glass. These environments lately focus on houses and families’ interactions in and around them. The subjects dwell in the arena of the uncanny; they tend to be psychological and heavily focused on narrative."
He uses a variety of materials to create his incredible work of art,but he uses mostly plaster foam and papier mâché.Here is a collection of work of art by this creative and talented artist:
