Some Simple Tips to Live Longer

Here are some simple tips that can help us live longer:
  1. Take a deep belly breath three to five minutes twice a day.
  2. Don't eat three hours before going to bed.
  3. Sit in silenece for at least ten minutes every day.
  4. If you are stressed,don't try to manage it.Instead take time off and relax.Come back after you are feeling refreshed.Trying to manage a problem when you are stressed only adds to agony.It will help you tackle the problem in a more constructive way.
  5.  Protect your heart.Cook in coconut oil as it is stable at high temperature and protects our heart.
  6. Sleep on the right side of your body as it takes the pressure off your heart.
  7. Laugh out Louder - Laughter is the best antidote to pain,stress and key to good health.Laughter strengthens our body immune system,diminishes pain,boosts energy and also protects us from effects of stress.
  8. Feel the world with your toes by walking  barefoot in nature.Walking barefoot on the green grass a few minutes every day relaxes one's mind and rejuvenates senses.
  9. Wash your hands with soap and keep them neat and clean.While washing your hands with soap rub your hands ten to fifteen minutes with soap to produce lather.
  10. Take honey to build and strengthen your immune system.Honey contains a very amount of antioxidant and anti-bacterial substances to strengthen our immune system and helps reverse side effects due to normal intake of sugar.
  11. Take care of your teeth.Floss and brush your teeth at least twice a day everyday.
  12. Eat wild Salmon at least once a week.It is rich in omega-3 fatty acids.It helps to prevent high cholesterol and high blood pressure.It protects against cancer and improves vision.It prevents fat storage and helps weight loss.
  13. We need at least 90mg of Vitamin C every day.So to meet this need of your body eat at least five servings of fresh fruit and vegetables every day.Oranges and guavas are a good source of vitamin c for our body.
  14. Blue berries,strawberries and raspberries contain plant nutrients known as anthocyanidins.Which are powerful anti-oxidants good for prevention of occurence of several ailments and improvement of immune system.
  15. Have a glass of fresh fruit juice every day to remain healthy.This will provide your body the proteins,minerals and vitamins essential for a healthy body.
  16. Eat foods with bright rich colors.Bright colored fruit and vegetables are full of nutrients essential for your body.
  17. Drink green tea at least twice a day.It is good for boosting metabolism and reducing weight.
  18. Do pull-ups and push-ups for 30 minutes twice a week.
  19. Walk for 30 minutes daily.
  20. Eat a piece of fruit daily.
  21. Stretch when you wake up.
  22. Balance your sugar by eating small meals often - this helps avoid huge energy highs and lows.
  23. Start each lunch and dinner with salad.
