iPhone4S is the latest model of iPhone,released on 4 October 2011.On the surface it looks similar to the older model - iPhone4,but under the hood iPhone4S is equipped with so many advanced hardware and software features that have earned this phone great accolade both from industry and iPhone critics.Unlike iPhone4,Apple calls iPhone4S as world's phone as it supports both GSM and CDMA networks.iPhone4 could not support both networks simultaneously,Apple had to produce two separate versions of iPhone4,one that supports GSM network and the other that supports CDMA network.As compared with iPhone4,iPhone4S is equipped with so many other advanced and novel features that makes it much more superior to iPhone4,like Siri - voice operate intelligent assistant,8-megapixel camera,dual-core A5 processor,iOS5,dual antenna wireless communication system ensuring better call quality and higher data download speeds,and higher capacity flash memory,iPhone4S has also retained some old good features of iPhone4 like retina display,touch-proof glass on the front and back,stainless steel band,assisted GPS,orientation sensing,light sensing and proximity sensing.iPhone4S is available in two colours,i.e. black and white. A brief description of some salient features and technical specifications of iPhone4S is given below.

The big media event of iPhone finally took place on 4th October 2011.The unusual thing about this media event is that the launch of long anticipated iPhone5 was missing from that long awaited event.Apple has actually put the launch of iPhone5 on hold.Instead of iPhone5,Apple unvailed iPhone4S, which has much superior features to that of iPhone4 with exterior look and feel similar to that of iPhone4.
Rumours were circulating both in industry and media that Apple would unveil iPhone5 on its big media event that recently held.It was expected that iPhone5 would be totally a new design with features,functions and look much more different and superior to that of iPhone4.However,the iPhone fans were taken by surprise when they learnt on media event of iPhone that Apple has postponed the release of iPhone5.With the release of iPhone4S about year after release of  iPhone4, the media and industry experts are anticipating that Apple would soon unveil iPhone5 within a year of release of iPhone4S.

The Georgia Aquarium is the World's largest aquarium.It is located in downtown Atlanta,Georgia,USA at Pemberton Place.It is situated opposite Centennial Olympic Park.It contains more than 8.5 million gallons  (32,000 m³) of fresh and marine water combined.It features five unique galleries and houses 120,000 animals of 500 different species.Its Oceans Ballroom features 23,000 sq ft flexible and private special event space.According to wikipedia, it's unique species include four young whale sharks,four beluga whales and four manta rays.It was funded mainly by a $250 donation from Home Depot Co-founder,Mr. Bernie Marcus.It was opened to the general public on 23rd November 2005.The area of the site where the aquarium was built is 20 acre or 81,000 m².Some images of the exterior and interior views and site map of the aquarium are shown below:

Due to soaring oil prices in the international market and declining fossil fuel reserves around the globe,a lot of research is ongoing in auto industry all around the world to develop a car that could run on more economical fuels other than gasoline like compressed air,compressed natural gas,solar energy or electrical energy.To meet the challenges posed by rising oil prices,an ex-Formula One engineer Guy Nègre,a visionary inventor and founder of Luxemberg-based French auto-maker company Moteur Developpment International (MDI) ,has come up with a unique solution that is not only economical but also environment-friendly.He has developed an engine that runs on compressed air and has zero emissions of its own.This engine is indeed one of the greatest inventions of this century.Negre's compressed air car can  cover a distance of about 120miles between refuelling and can hit the speed of up to 70 miles. 

World's Fastest Couch - New Guinness World Record

A Sydney based design team has just recently unofficially smashed the Guinness World Record of World's Fastest Couch after its motorised couch (souped-up sofa) hit a speed of 101mph or 163km/hr on the runway at Camden Airport outside Sydney.This record-breaking vehicle was driven by Glenn Suter on Tuesday,27 September 2011.This record breaking stunt was sponsored by Ice Break Iced Coffee.That's why the designers of this vehicle had to include a "coffee table" in the design of this vehicle as well.The previous Guinness World Record title-holder is Marek Turowsk from Leicestershire in the UK,who set this record in 2008 with top speed of 92mph or 148km/hr.This new record-smashing motorized couch was built by Brookvale based Evolution Motorsports,which was powered by a Suzuki GSX 1400 motorcycle engine.This engine was chosen for this record-breaking vehicle because of its power and compactness.The vehicle consists of a leather two-seater couch and a handy coffee table with cup of coffee and bowl of fruit.  

World Smallest Spy Plane - Harvard University's Robotic Fly

Haward University's Professor Robert Wood and his team at Havard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences have developed a small robotic-fly,which weighs only 60mg (0.002oz) and has a wingspan of 30mm (1.18in).The movements of this tiny flying robot are modelled on those of a real fly.Complex wing movements of houseflies,fruit flies and bees have been studied in depth for development of this robotic-fly.Its eventual application might include locating survivors trapped in mines or in debris of collapsed buildings,detecting harmful chemicals and covert surveillance in wartime.

If you are an iPhone fan,then there is a good news for you about the release of new model of iPhone i.e., iPhone5.According to AllThingsD and The Loop,the Apple has finally announced the release date of long awaited iPhone5.According to the sources,the event will be held at Apple's Cupertino, Calif. campus.The event will begin at 10 a.m PT.Sources also added that company plans to make the new model of iPhone available for purchase within a few weeks of its unveiling event.
